WHAT IS THE CRAZY CREEK® PRODUCTS WARRANTY POLICY?
Crazy Creek Products are warranted to the original owner against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for either the lifetime of the product, one year or five year as stated for each product, not the persons lifetime ;).
If a Crazy Creek Products item is covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect we will replace it, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this policy. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use.
How do I start the Warranty Evaluation Process?
For warranty evaluation, please email us images of the product and the damage in question to email@example.com for consideration. If necessary to return to us, all shipping to Warranty must be pre-paid and insured. Crazy Creek Products cannot be liable for lost in-bound packages. Products accepted for warranty must be clean.
This warranty does not cover any products purchased as used equipment or products used in rental programs.
What is Lifetime?
The products eligible for warranty are covered under warranty, to the original owner, for the usable lifetime of the product.
Unfortunately, this does not mean your lifetime. Your Crazy Creek Product may not survive your lifetime, but we often hear from our fans that their chair has been with them over 20 years!
What is Normal Wear & Tear?
Crazy Creek Products lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship but it does not cover normal wear and tear. Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use. Regardless of how carefully you use, or how well you care for your Crazy Creek Products, they will eventually begin to show age and wear. Common examples of wear and tear that would not be covered under the lifetime warranty include colors fading, abrasions on the bottom of chairs from rubbing when you sit on abrasive areas and general breakdown of the materials over the years.
The fine print:
If your warranted product by Crazy Creek Products fail due to a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship we will replace it. If your Crazy Creek Product has special memories attached to it that make it irreplaceable to you, please indicate so on the Warranty Return Form and we will not replace it and it will be returned to you.
Our typical turnaround time is 6-8 weeks from the time we receive your product until it is returned to you. In some cases we can get it back to you sooner. In some cases, it may take longer. During peak season our turnaround time can be longer than eight weeks. If your product needs to be sent out to be cleaned, you may expect up to two additional weeks before it will be returned to you.
As stated in our warranty policy, the customer pays the shipping charges to send products to the Warranty Department. Crazy Creek Products will absorb the return shipping charges using UPS or regular mail. If you request that we return your product by UPS Overnight or 2nd Day Air, the additional shipping charges will be billed to you. Shipping charges for all non-warranty repairs are at the owner’s expense.
If your buckle is broken or misplaced upon arrival we would be happy to send you a new one. You may contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a replacement buckle to be sent out. Please provide your name and address, phone number along with a description of the product, including pictures of the chair and buckle. If it breaks by accident you can also purchase a buckle on our website - look under accessories for the correct buckle.
