Men’s Journal awards AirLounger “Best Lightweight Camp Chair”
We’re excited to share that Men’s Journal has named the Crazy Creek AirLounger the “Best Lightweight Camp Chair” in its 2025 Outdoor Awards, recognizing it as one of the best camp chairs worth packing for your next camping trip.

Men’s Journal tested a wide range of camp chairs—from ultralight backpacking options to sturdy, comfort-first designs—and the AirLounger stood out for its versatility, comfort, and innovative design. The AirLounger replaces traditional foam with air for support.
The journalist notes that the AirLounger can be used in multiple modes. In Chair Mode, it provides two layers of air cushioning for supportive seated comfort. Unfold it into Lounger Mode for full leg support, fold it into Pillow Mode for beach days or trail naps, or lay it flat in Sleeper Mode, where it becomes a 50-inch-long sleeping pad.
Men’s Journal praised the AirLounger’s durability and structure, noting its ripstop nylon and TPU-welded construction, carbon-reinforced fiberglass support stays, and 3D-welded internal structure, all of which held up to months of testing.
Inflating the AirLounger is quick and simple thanks to a two-way valve—just a few breaths for both the seat and lounge extension—and when it’s time to pack up, the Air Lounger rolls down into a compact, backpack-friendly bundle.
